I first saw this pen when touring one of the factories for a company I worked with.  A guy pulled this out of his shirt pocket and I said, "What is THAT?"  So, of course, I had to order one on the internet.  It's stainless steel.  And, check out the the thruster embedded in the barrel.  It's like slide on a weapon.  Thus, the name of this pen, Caliber .45.  This pen runs about $75 USD.  

I give this pen a  5 PI Rating out of five. 

Tactical pens are for law enforcement, fire fighters, armed forces and so on.  You should keep one in your car at all times.  Why?  If you were to accidentally drive into a body of water, you could take this tactical pen, tap your side car window with the tip and it will shatter the glass so that you can swim out to safety.  Without the pen, you cannot break the window.
